Hallo Leutz,

die Töpfchen sind wohlbehalten bei den Niederrheinern angekommen. Auch hier möchte ich mich im Namen Aller nochmals herzlich bei den "Westfalen" für die Übergabe der Mugs bedanken.

Schon früh am Morgen haben sich einige Westfalen/innen auf den Weg zu uns an den schönen Niederhein gemacht, um uns zu unserem Stammtisch die Valhalla Krüge zu bringen.
Nachdem in unserem "Stammtischlokal" die feierliche Übergabe der Mugs stattfand und Einige ein wenig Balast zu sich genommen hatten ( von wegen des Anpressdruck auf dem Hinterrad, fuhren wir mit einem Teil der Westfalen nach Xanten.

Dort zelebrierten wir nochmal die Übergabe.
Nun, -alle kennen unseren Kuni - und da wir uns vor einer Eisdiele befanden, wurde der Krug erst mal "gefüllt".
Das Klever Tor war leider doch nicht die richtige Location um Fotos zu machen, da durch Turis total überfüllt!

Wir haben es natürlich nicht soooo einfach wie unsere kölner Stammtischfreunde oder unsere westfälischen Valktreiber. Die Kölner haben ja "nur" den Dom und die Westfalen "nur" die Möhnetalsperre. Wir haben am Niederrhein sooo viele Wahrzeichen und außergewöhnliche markante Punkte, das die Auswahl echt schwer fällt.

Da wir aber gerade in Xanten waren - und es mit der Zeit ein wenig drängte - haben wir uns vor der Stadtmauer von Colonia Ulpia Traiana aufgebaut und nochmal ein paar Erinnerungsfotos geschossen. Gut, zum Zeichen dessen, das wir am Niederhein auch noch eine eigene Kultur entwickelt - nicht nur eine römisch/italienisch geprägte - und auch technische Errungenschaften zu bieten haben (schließlich gehen diese Fotos ja weltweit rum ) , wurde noch mal 'ne Fotosession in Tönisberg vor der weltberühmten Kastenbockmühle eingeschoben.
Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Tag und mögen die Krüge noch lange kreisen und am Ende heil zum Startpunkt zurückkehren.

Mehr als alle Worte sagen natürlich die Bilder, welche gemacht wurden. So kann ich jedem nur empfehlen, die Valhalla-Seite anzuklicken , auf der alles ganz toll dokumentiert wird. Herzlichen Dank und "SUPER" an alle, die da Zeit und Arbeit reinstecken.

Es ist doch erstaunlich, das erst zwei Bierhumpen um die Welt reisen müssen, damit die Stammtische - auch grenzübergreifend - sich mal besuchen. (diese Kritik geht ganz besonders an mich selbst, und ich gelobe Besserung )
Schön zu sehen, das eine solche Idee "gelebt" wird und mit wieviel Enthusiasmus alle dabei sind.

Ich wünsche allen weiteren Empfängern der Mugs mindestens genauso viel Spaß und den gleichen wohlgesinnten Wettergott ............

Hallo People ,

the pots are well kept in the Lower arrived. Again, I am speaking on behalf ever again thank the "Westphalia"

for the handover of the Mugs thanks.

Very early in the morning, some Westphalia / s on the way to us at the beautiful Dutch Hein made to us to our table to bring to Valhalla jugs.
After our "local regulars" the ceremonial handover of the Mugs and took some a little weights had to be taken (by reason of the pressure on the rear

, We went with a part of Westphalia after Xanten. Here again we celebrated the handover.
Well, all know our Kuni - and since we were in front of a ice cream parlor, was the first pitcher "filled".
The Klever Tor but unfortunately was not the right location for photos, because Turis totally crowded!

We are of course not soooo easy as cologne our friends or our regulars Valktreiber Westphalia. The Cologne have "only" the cathedral and the Rhine Westphalia "only" the Möhne Dam. We have sooo many on the Lower Rhine and exceptional striking landmark points,the selection really difficult.

Since we were just in Xanten - and with time a little pushed - we have before the city of Colonia Traiana Ulpia up again and a few memory photos. Well, the character of which we at the low Hein also developed its own culture - not just a Roman / Italian influenced - and even technical achievements have to offer (after all these pictures so the world around),

was again 'ne photo session in Tönisberg before the world-famous mill box Bock inserted.
All in all a wonderful day and like the pitchers circle for a long time and at the end of healing to the starting point to return.

It is surprising that only two Bierhumpen are traveling around the world so that the tables - even across national borders - are times to visit. (This criticism is especially to myself, and I promise better)
Nice to see that such an idea "lived" and with how much enthusiasm all are.

I wish all other recipients of the Mugs at least as much fun and sympathetic to the same weather god ............
